Abraham Ferraro and Fernando Orellana @ Albany Center Gallery

Both Ferraro and Orellana have been recognized and praised for avant-garde and “on the fringe” contemporary art pieces – and ACG’s organizersare excited to bring these two challenging artists together for the first time at the gallery’s downtown Albany space.   Ferraro and Orellana’s works have been noted for presenting social-political conversation in a sculptural and aesthetically challenging form. Both artists have been active on the local contemporary sculpture scene in recent years, and have exhibited their work at the Albany Institute of History & Art, Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA, Barcelona, Spain), LABoral - Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial (Gijon, Spain), the Tang Teaching Museum (Saratoga Springs), the Fulton Street Gallery (Troy), the Mandeville Gallery (Schenectady), and the University Art Museum (Albany), among other venues.
